Na manhã deste sábado (12), o prefeito de Barueri, Rubens Furlan, acompanhado de autoridades do munícipio, da Deputada Federal Bruna Furlan e também do Secretário de Educação do Estado de São Paulo, Rossieli Soares, inauguraram a nova escola no Jardim Belval.
A EMEIEF Elisabet Titto fica localizada na rua Ricardo Peagno, no Jardim Belval, próximo ao Instituto Tecnológico de Barueri (ITB) Brasílio Flores de Azevedo e da estação de trem da linha-8 Diamante.
A escola foi construída pela Secretaria de Obras de Barueri em um terreno de 7.391,36 m², com 6.991,16 m² de área construída. É mais uma obra de grande porte e bem estruturada, cujo projeto foi desenvolvido a fim de ampliar o atendimento e proporcionar um ensino de qualidade para os moradores daquela região.
A unidade tem 20 salas de aula que abrigam cerca de 900 alunos em dois turnos, além de salas multiuso, de informática, de leitura e laboratório de ciências. Para proporcionar um ambiente que desperte o melhor de cada estudante, a escola conta ainda com sala de recursos, auditório, quadra coberta, vestiários, solário, vivência, cozinha e refeitório.
O prédio tem também espaço para administração, estacionamento para funcionários, embarque e desembarque de alunos, acessibilidade, energia solar e água de reúso.
Dotada de arquitetura moderna, equipamentos de última geração e equipe pedagógica dedicada e competente, a unidade de ensino já é motivo de orgulho de toda a comunidade. As aulas começaram por lá juntamente com as demais escolas da rede, no dia 7 de fevereiro. A escola atende crianças a partir dos quatro anos, da primeira fase da Educação Infantil, até o 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental.
