O Governo Federal publicou uma portaria na edição desta terça-feira (27) do Diário Oficial da União (DOU) que regulamenta o empréstimo consignado para os cidadãos que recebem o Auxílio Brasil.
Segundo o texto, o desconto previsto no empréstimo consignado é realizado direto na fonte. Com isso, os bancos teriam a garantia de que não haverá atrasos nos pagamentos das prestações.
O valor máximo das parcelas será de até 40% do valor mensal do benefício. O programa, que hoje concede ao menos R$ 600 aos beneficiários, será considerado de R$ 400.
A portaria publicada no DOU também estabelece que o número máximo de parcelas será de 24, enquanto a taxa de juros não poderá exceder os 3,5% ao mês.
Recentemente, o ministro da Cidadania afirmou que o empréstimo consignado para os brasileiros inscritos no auxílio deveria começar em setembro. Ronaldo Bento, no entanto, não confirmou uma data específica na ocasião.
