Guilherme Boulos (PSOL), coordenador nacional do Movimento dos Trabalhadores Sem Teto (MTST), anunciou nesta segunda-feira (21) que será candidato a deputado federal nas eleições deste ano.
Ele era pré-candidato do partido ao governo de São Paulo, mas desistiu da disputa. Em seu perfil nas redes sociais, afirmou que a decisão foi tomada para fortalecer a esquerda no Congresso.
“Tomei a decisão de ser candidato a Deputado Federal por uma razão: ajudar a construir uma grande Bancada de Esquerda no Congresso. Hoje o Centrão governa o Brasil. Precisamos ter força para a Reforma Trabalhista, o Teto de Gastos e aprovar mudanças populares”, postou Boulos em suas redes sociais.
Filósofo, professor, ativista e psicanalista, Boulos graduou-se em filosofia pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas da Universidade de São Paulo (FFLCH-USP), onde ingressou em 2000.
Especializou-se em Psicologia Clínica pela PUC/SP e também é mestre em psiquiatria pela Faculdade de Medicina da USP.
Coordenador do MTST e membro da direção do movimento de esquerda “Frente Povo Sem Medo”, Guilherme Boulos tem 39 anos e nasceu em São Paulo.
