A partir das primeiras horas de amanhã (23), uma onda de frio vai atingir o estado de São Paulo e provocar a queda abrupta da temperatura. O alerta foi feito hoje (22) pela Defesa Civil do Estado de São Paulo, e vale até domingo (25).
A previsão é de que a temperatura mínima possa chega a 3ºC na Serra da Mantiqueira. Já na capital e região metropolitana, a temperatura pode chegar a 7ºC.
Nas regiões de Sorocaba e de Campinas, os termômetros podem chegar a 9ºC. Em São José dos Campos e Vale da Ribeira, a mínima chega a 8ºC. E na Baixada Santista e litoral norte paulista, a expectativa é de temperaturas entre 12ºC e 13ºC.
Segundo a Defesa Civil, a queda abrupta da temperatura vai intensificar a sensação de frio e aumentar o risco de incidentes e danos à saúde. A dica é que se mantenham os grupos mais vulneráveis, como idosos, crianças e moradores em situação de rua, agasalhados.
O órgão também alerta para que as pessoas evitem locais fechados e de grande circulação de pessoas para se evitar as doenças oportunistas que incidem mais no período de maior frio, como gripes, resfriados, pneumonias e meningites. E que se higienize constantemente as mãos.
Por causa da expectativa de muito frio na capital paulista, a estação Pedro II do Metrô vai funcionar durante a madrugada como abrigo temporário para moradores em situação de rua. O abrigo será aberto a partir das 19h de amanhã.
