A Prefeitura de Osasco entregou novas viaturas e uniformes para os agentes do Departamento Municipal de Trânsito (Demutran), órgão vinculado à Secretaria de Transportes e Mobilidade Urbana. A entrega dos equipamentos foi realizada em frente ao Paço Municipal. A ação integra o calendário de atividades em comemoração aos 60 anos da emancipação político-administrativa do município.
Com a modernização, o Demutran recebeu 15 novas viaturas, sendo 8 carros da Chevrolet modelo S10, com cabine dupla, e 7 motos. Os agentes de trânsito receberam novo uniforme, que ficou mais moderno com as cores preto e verde.
No ato de entrega das viaturas, o prefeito Rogério Lins agradeceu o trabalho dos agentes de trânsito e falou da importância das atividades desses colaboradores para o município: “muito obrigado pelo trabalho que vocês fazem todos os dias pela nossa cidade. Muitas vezes é um trabalho preventivo, que ajuda a evitar acidentes, mas às vezes também é de auxílio aos motoristas num momento de emergência”, disse.
O secretário de Transportes e Mobilidade Urbana, Lau Alencar, apontou que com os novos equipamentos as equipes passam a contar com melhores condições de trabalho. “Todo esse investimento feito nos garantirá melhores condições de trabalho para atender a segurança viária do município. Veículos modernos e equipados para fazermos ainda mais pela nossa população”, finalizou.
DEMUTRAN
É o departamento responsável por gerir os serviços de sinalização e ordenamento do trânsito e tráfego, bem como o sistema de estacionamento rotativo e zona azul, fiscalizar o trânsito, dar suporte administrativo ao órgão responsável pelo julgamento de recursos por infrações no trânsito, no âmbito do município, além de desenvolver programas e projetos de educação e segurança na mobilidade urbana.
