O Ministério da Justiça liberou R$ 150 milhões para ampliar rondas e criar ações para melhorar a segurança nas escolas, por meio do Programa Nacional de Segurança nas Escolas. O edital foi publicado e a medida foi oficializada no Diário Oficial da União nesta quarta-feira (12).
O governo anunciou a medida depois do ataque a uma creche de Blumenau (SC), no dia 5 de abril, que deixou quatro crianças mortas.
Segundo a pasta, o objetivo da medida é fortalecer os órgãos de segurança pública para atuar nas escolas. Além disso, estão previstas ações de monitoramento e investigação de possíveis crimes, incluindo na internet.
O ministério irá repassar os recursos para as propostas de ações de enfrentamento à violência que forem aprovadas. A partir de quinta-feira (13), órgãos públicos poderão enviar propostas para o governo com as seguintes temáticas:
1. Criação, aprimoramento ou fortalecimento de Patrulhas e Rondas Escolares;
2. Capacitação e especialização na prevenção em segurança no ambiente escolar;
3. Pesquisa e diagnóstico na prevenção em segurança no ambiente escolar;
4. Monitoramento de ameaças, inteligência e enfrentamento aos crimes cibernéticos;
5. Ações educativas e culturais com foco em prevenção às violências observadas no ambiente escolar;
6. Estruturação de observatórios de violência nas escolas.
Todas as propostas serão analisadas por uma comissão, que distribuirá notas para cada projeto de acordo com os critérios do edital.
Municípios que tiverem propostas aprovadas pelo Ministério da Justiça receberão entre R$ 100 mil e R$ 1 milhão, enquanto estados e o Distrito Federal receberão de R$ 500 mil a R$ 3 milhões.
Os recursos para bancar os projetos virão do Fundo Nacional de Segurança Pública.
