Um corpo foi localizado, nesta quinta-feira (24), no Rio Piabanha, no distrito da Posse, em Petrópolis. O trabalho foi realizado pelo Corpo de Bombeiros. Existe a possibilidade que se trate de uma das vítimas desaparecidas na enxurrada do dia 15 de fevereiro.
Segundo a prefeitura de Petrópolis, a equipe técnica e científica da Polícia Civil trabalha na identificação para confirmar se é uma das três vítimas ainda desaparecidas, sendo que uma delas é uma criança, de 8 anos, que estava no ônibus que submergiu nas águas.
A chuva de domingo (20), deixou sete vítimas fatais que já foram encontradas pelo Corpo de Bombeiros. Com essas, o município soma 241 mortos por ocasião das chuvas de fevereiro e março.
