O Estado de SP está entre os destinos de lazer mais vendidos do Brasil, de acordo com o Anuário Braztoa 2023, publicado nesta quarta-feira, 12, pela Associação Brasileira das Operadoras de Turismo (BRAZTOA), em parceria com a consultoria Sprint Dados. O município de São Paulo e os destinos próximos da capital aparecem na 4ª posição nacional quando o assunto é a venda de destinos de lazer, na preferência de brasileiros e estrangeiros.
O turismo, de um modo geral, avançou em todo o país, revela a Braztoa. De acordo com o levantamento, as operadoras embarcaram 8,4 milhões de passageiros em 2022, o maior número da série histórica. Os avanços também aparecem no faturamento das empresas, que alcançaram R$ 11,55 bilhões em vendas, 62,7% a mais que no ano anterior. Roteiros de média duração (5 a 9 dias) foram requisitados por 51,6% dos passageiros que viajaram pelo Brasil. Viagens ainda mais curtas, de até 5 dias, foram a escolha de 34% do público.
“São Paulo tem opções de turismo para agradar todos os públicos, com cultura, gastronomia e paisagens incríveis; além de atrativos de qualidades, ótimas estradas e conectividade aérea. Muito além dos negócios, nosso estado tem no lazer um potencial muito grande”, afirma o secretário de Turismo e Viagens, Roberto de Lucena.
O estudo ainda revela que 42% dos passageiros domésticos embarcados são da geração X (40 a 60 anos) e 26,8% baby boomers (+60 anos), o que demonstra uma tendência de viagens entre o público adulto e a terceira idade.
