O ministro do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) Raul Araújo acolheu um pedido do PL e determinou que o festival Lollapalooza vede a realização de manifestações que podem ser classificadas como político-eleitorais por parte dos artistas que se apresentarem no evento, que termina hoje (27).
A decisão do ministro é monocrática e foi tomada após o PL ter acionado a Corte, em razão de manifestações dos artistas Pablo Vittar e Marina, na sexta-feira (25).
O partido argumentou que durante as apresentações, os artistas se manifestaram a favor do ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva e contra o presidente da República, Jair Bolsonaro, filiado ao PL. Para os advogados do partido, as manifestações configurariam propaganda eleitoral antecipada, o que não é permitido por lei.
Na determinação de ontem (26), o ministro justificou a decisão com o argumento de que esse tipo de propaganda “pode voltar a ser deflagrada”, já que a programação do Lollapalooza começa ao meio dia de hoje e termina após as 23h
“Defiro parcialmente o pedido de tutela antecipada formulada na exordial da representação, no sentido de prestigiar a proibição legal, vedando a realização ou manifestação de propaganda eleitoral ostensiva e extemporânea em favor de qualquer candidato ou partido político por parte dos músicos e grupos musicais que se apresentem no festival”, escreveu Araújo.
O ministro estipulou ainda multa de R$ 50 mil para o festival para cada vez que a proibição for desobedecida, “até ulterior deliberação”, da Corte.
