Durante um patrulhamento de rotina, no fim da manhã desta quarta-feira (23/03), a Guarda Civil Municipal de Cotia saiu em perseguição a um veículo Gran Siena, cor preta, pois o condutor não atendeu à solicitação de parada. Na altura do km 25 da Rodovia Raposo Tavares, sentido interior, ocupantes do veículo começaram a disparar com a GCM, houve revide, três ocupantes do veículo foram atingidos: dois foram socorridos, um foi a óbito no local e um está na Delegacia de Cotia.
Com os ocupantes do carro, a GCM encontrou celulares e três armas de fogo: uma de calibre 45, uma 380 e uma ponto 40). Ao fazerem o levantamento dos dados, a GCM constatou que três dos criminosos já têm passagem pela polícia. O carro utilizado é um carro roubado e estava com a placa adulterada. A ocorrência está sendo registrada na Delegacia de Cotia.
De acordo com o comandante da GCM, Júlio Cesar, há suspeita de que o veículo estava transitando por ruas internas na região da Granja Viana, minutos antes da abordagem da corporação, tentando abordar pessoas para sequestro ou outros crimes.
